First things first...
What is PET plastic?
PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) is a very common polymer, known for being the material used in many water, soda, and soft drink bottles. It is lightweight, durable, and recyclable.

Why is it used in 3D printing?
Although there is a variant called PETG (glycolized polyethylene terephthalate), we can also transform the plastic from common bottles into filament for 3D printers due to its properties of resistance, flexibility, and adhesion between layers.

Take into account...
Before attempting to print with PET, be aware that you may need to upgrade or modify specific components of your printer to ensure optimal material flow and consistent performance.
